I Corinthians 15:57 “But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
We are so thankful to God for the blessings He has bestowed upon our church in 2014. What a great year! We had twenty-six additions to our church family, a 12% increase in our membership. We had seven precious children accept Christ as their savior in Vacation Bible School. Financially, we finished the year over $19,000 in the black ( the first time in over 5 years ). Thanks be to God!
However, 2014 is gone and we are in a new year. What blessings does God have in store for our church body this year? We had our first addition to our church on January 18th. We want to welcome Sherri Bennett to our church family. Will more be saved in 2015? Will we finally get our much needed new roof this year? I can hardly wait to see what God has in store for us this year!
Attention!! I will be hosting a luncheon at the Pizza Inn on Pierce St, Saturday, February 21st at 12:00. I want to invite all Sunday School Teachers, Children’s Church workers, and teachers for our Sunday and Wednesday night classes. You and your spouse are welcome to attend. Please, mark your calendars for this important date. Door prizes will be given and lunch is on me. I’ll see you there!
We have several upcoming events being planned as I write this article. On April 4th, at 11:00, we will have our Easter Egg hunt for our children at the beach. In addition, we are starting to plan a special day for the ladies of our church on May 10th, at 9:00. If you and your children are active in our church activities, we only grow closer as a church family. Remember these dates.
